Hours of Operation

First Years Academy is open 6:30 AM-6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Please make sure your child is picked up by their registered time to leave each day or a late fee will be charged. Also there is a fee for children dropped off before their registered time of day.

Holidays

The following is a list of the Paid Holidays that I will be closed or closing early every year, others may be added as needs arise:

Tuition will still be charged for all holidays and sick days and vacations.

July Shutdown- this week vacation is provided so that all staff are given a weeks vacation. All tuition is due by Thursday (or the day before the holiday shut down) of the week before, upon receiving your tuition there will be a gift certificate to use during the year for a free week of care. If you do not pay by the end of Friday before the vacation, you will not receive a free week of care.

Inclement Weather

First Years Academy only shuts it’s doors in case of an emergency. If the public schools (Narragansett Regional) have a delay or cancel school please call the center and there will be a recorded message at 978-630-0010. Should it become necessary to close early due to severe weather or unsafe condition (i.e.: power or water failure), we will contact parents or guardians to arrange for children to be picked up early. No tuition credits will be given during weather situations. The final decision concerning school attendance will rest with the individual parent.
